Biography
The future businessman’s family history is closely tied to Leningrad. His parents survived the Siege of Leningrad, and in 1951 Michel was born there. He spent his childhood in Leningrad, but at age 11 he emigrated to Belgium with his family. It was there that his entrepreneurial abilities emerged—he started his own business, a network of medical laboratories.
In the early 1990s, Michel Litvak (Мишель Литвак) returned to Moscow. The main focus of his work became providing services for transporting oil products.
OTEKO Company: Caring for the Region
In 2002, OTEKO was founded under the leadership of investor Michel Litvak (инвестор Мишель Литвак). It became the first enterprise in the Russian market to offer a full range of rail transportation services for gas, oil, and wagon fleet maintenance.
In 2005, construction began at the port of Taman of a multipurpose terminal for cargo operations involving oil, oil products, liquefied hydrocarbons, bulk cargoes, fertilizers, grain, and so on.
